Little Happy Circus Crochet book review (E-book)
There’s a new elephant in town.
I was happy to get to review the e-book by Tine Nielsen from Little Happy Crochet
Tine has the cutest characters and I have adored them since I first discovered them a few years ago. I have previously made Oda the Hippo which you may have seen if you follow my Instagram feed. In the book “Little Happy Circus” you’ll meet 10 unique characters, and there’s also crochet pattern for pop corn (how cute isn’t that!) and garland. The book has lots of high quality photos of the different characters as well as lots of step-thru photos helping you through the process of making your own toys. The patterns are well written and easy to understand. In the first section of the book you’ll find a list of supplies and a “crochet school” with detailed descriptions and photos on how to join legs, how to change colors and pretty much what you need to work through the patterns.
My try: Sleepy Elephant
My personal favorite characters have to be the “Mr Strong” and “Mr Elephant Sleepyhead”, and I couldn’t decide on which one, but I had my followers on instagram help me and Elephant won by far.
I made the toy using a 2.25 mm crochet hook, cotton yarn I bought to my trip to Turkey a couple of years ago (Alize white cotton yarn) and hand dyed yarn (merino wool) from Tweedy Todd for the hat. I am so happy with my new little guy!
I can highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoy amigurumi making. The book is well worked through, and overall a pleasure to the eye. The e-book is brought to you by sewandso.co.uk
Disclaimer: I have recieved a free copy of the e-book.
